Aguilar Named to PFL First Team

Jacksonville University offensive tackle Michael Aguilar led a contingency of Dolphin football players named to the All Pioneer Football League First Team offensive squad. JU head football coach Kerwin Bell was named the Pioneer Football League Coach of the Year after the Dolphins superlative 9-3 season of upsets and a league title. Numerous Dolphin players were named to PFL honor teams as well.

Dolphins keep Winning

Jacksonville University's Dolphin football team won its sixth straight game with a 27 point fourth quarte outburst to rout visiting Drake University 41-9 in Jacksonville Saturday afternoon. Next week, previously unbeaten Dayton, who lost this week 14-13, visits Jacksonville in a Pioneer League championship game slated to start at noon. The Dolphins are now 8-3, 6-1 in PFL play, were led by RB Rudell Smith's 178 yards rushing and 3 TDs; one via pass.
